Much of the time the cousins spent together (at least during the summers) was around Black Creek. When Paul moved back to Wiggins, one of the first things he did was to get Virginia to show him how to find the old swimmin' holes again, and the first contribution to this site was Gayle's tale about nearly drowning there.
On the way to Mardis Gras 1999 Carol stopped to take some pictures of the old swimming hole as it is in 1999 (hasn't changed much...).
As a part of the "Cousins' Day 2003" activities, Nancy and Paul passed by the creek and stopped to take some pictures. No doubt both wishing it were July instead of October.
