We want to thank you a million times for the use of your room. It was most pleasant, except that we felt like we were being held "hostage" in the hotel because we didn't dare move our car! We had a snack mid afternoon in the lounge/bar.The parades were great, especially the OOM's, the last parade on Fat Tuesday. We got almost 20 beads, one ladies underwear (!), cup, coins, moon pies. We watched from Royal & Goverrnment as you suggested, and had a completely unobstructed view.
We got back to Gulf Shores early this AM, and had a message from Gilbert that he arrived safely in Virginia Beach last night. I appreciate everything you did for all of us. Enjoyed Carol, and look forward to seeing you both down here real soon. Take care, and stay in touch.
