With nephew's birthday party postponed for a day, I had some extra time in Wiggins, so I went over to see how Kevin & Sarah's house construction was progressing. 'Nette was at De's pool with Clay,
and she told me he hadn't grasped that Lindy had grown up a bit and wasn't always going to be there to play with him in the pool, and she didn't want her hair to get wet, so I said, "well, I will!"

I agreed to teach Clay how to do a backflip if he would show me how to do a front-flip and cannonball. 'NetNet agreed to work the camera. We began with Paul's backflip...

'Nette made Paul do it again, and again... since she'd missed all but the splash...

Clay gave instructions on how to do front flips, and I followed them exactly, but 'Nette must've been laughing too hard to take pictures... And I still can't do front flips...

But Clay was pretty good at giving Cannonball instructions, and 'Nette was ruthless enough to capture this shot...

Clay didn't think I'd done it quite right, 'cause I didn't make a big enough splash...

So he gave me a demonstration of how to do it "right."
